My client is a highly regarded advisory boutique offering asset management, corporate finance, private equity and wealth management services. To grow the business more aggressively they are looking to hire a Head of Asset Management to lead the business.
To grow the business more agressively they are looking to hire a Head of Asset management to lead the business and develop innovative new products for the market.
This person will sit at a senior level reporting directly to the CEO, and will have responsibility for managing the asset management business.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing investment strategy and decisions
Overall leadership and ownership of the asset management function
Lead idea generation
Direct research activities to keep track of trends in the industry, evaluation and selection of investment vehicles
Member of the investment committee
Skills required:
CFA
8-10+ years in the financial services industry including portfolio management
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
MBA preferred
The successful applicants background should include significant history as a fund manager managing assets. Strong quant and modelling skills essential, GCC regional experience and good knowledge of the GCC customer base preferable
This person must be a team player who is prepared to take on additional responsibility as necessary.
