The role:

- The main focus of the role is to run the asset allocation strategy element of the investment team. You will cover nearly all types of asset class, both long only and alternatives.

- The role is high profile and central to the business, reporting to the CIO.

- Some involvement in manager research, particularly macro managers.

The person:

- Must have several years relevant work experience.

- Must have strong and relevant academic qualifications (preferably economics).

- Must at least  have experience in equities and fixed income and , ideally, alternative investments too.

- Strong communicator with excellent writing skills (for the writing of strategy papers)
