The ideal candidate should be a well-rounded financial advisor with hard-core client advisory experience as well as the capabilites to build a strong business around himself/herself. Good networks in the Singapore markets is a must to perfom in this role. Qualified candiates with CFP/AFP, ChFC certifications will be specially considered. The purpose of the role will be to identify and source potential new clients and convert leads into ongoing retainer clients through the provision of financial planning advice. The focus of the role is to generate and develop new business by identifying potential clients through referral, networking, seminars, centers of influence, corporate and marketing channels. The key accountabilities of the role are: Sales: • Achieve agreed sales targets with respect to funds under management, retainer conversions and expenses • Contribute to the establishment of corporate sales targets on a bi-annual basis Lead Generation: • Generate new business in agreed referral sources through various networking activities including managing relationships between co and the referral sources • Identify opportunities for seminars, sponsorship and other promotional activities to leverage business generation activity Provide High Quality Advice: • Provide technically competent financial planning advice to key client segments – retirement, redundancy and wealth accumulators (expatriates and locals) Client Relationships: • Effectively manage the relationship between the client and co including, by FY04 the transfer of retainer clients to the ongoing service and providing on a fee-for-service basis advice as required to non retainer clients Market Intelligence: • Monitor competitor activities and pro-actively provide advice to the Country Manager If you have a strong financial advisory experience, believe in the absolute necessity of financial planning and have an entreprenuerial mindset, pls send in your details to Tanya Sinha at tanya@questonthefrontier.com or call at 62225060 for a brief discussion.
