The Investment Products & Analytics (IPA) team of Credit Suisse HOLT creates Equity Investment Products utilising the HOLT methodology. The team has constructed over 30 Custom Indices and Baskets for Retail and Institutional clients since 2006 and has placed significant volume of trades across these products. The team also produces quantitative insights for clients to help them improve their portfolio construction & stock selection methodology. The full suite of products include:
? Regional & Global, long-only Indices ? Alternative Indices - Market Neutral, Equity Hedged, Sector Rotation, Style Rotation, Commodity/Equity Switch ? Quantitative Factor Analyses
Work within the Investment Products & Analytics team of Credit Suisse HOLT (a global team of 12 people).
Areas of responsibility:
? Investment Products - Design, creation and maintenance of customised baskets & indices for clients.
? Client service - Product management and service continuity, managing client expectations through existing and new IPA client relationships, involve clients in design and content of custom products.
? Special Projects - Involved in project design, management and delivery for special client systems and internal projects; assist IPA team members with custom requests when required.
? Production -Work to a comprehensive ‘Report Schedule' for the IPA team which includes weekly, bi-weekly and monthly product generation and delivery.
? Accountability - for product content, delivery, and performance.
? Compliance - Adhere to, and monitor CREDIT SUISSE legal and compliance controls for systems and products. Essential:
Business Degree or equivalent Accounting Valuation Econometrics/Statistics Experience in an investment banking environment Equity Analysis skills Excellent communication & presentation skills Interest & knowledge of financial markets Highly computer literate Excel - Excellent working knowledge MS Access - Good working knowledge PowerPoint - Good working knowledge External Data Providers - Familiarity with information retrieval systems and Market Data Sources such as Datastream, Factset, Bloomberg.
