State Street is looking to recruit a Transitions Administrator to join our team in Edinburgh.

The Product & Consultancy Transition Team has responsibility for the following processes for IS UKMEA, including Fund openings for new and existing clients, transfer assets/cash relating to new clients, restructures, inter fund transfers, fund closures and share class setups.
Within this role, the successful candidate would be responsible for:
• Participate in New Business Presentations/conference calls where appropriate • Ensure timely and accurate transition of new / exiting client assets / cash • Liaise with internal groups to ensure timely and accurate set up of new client accounts on custody, accounting system and all downstream applications; • Liaise with client counterparts to ensure all details of transition are accurate • Reconciliation of transition asset list vs assets received / delivered to ensure completeness • Co-ordinate client emerging markets documentation • Preparation of transition asset files for upload into custody system • Communicate all new account details to new clients and ongoing service team • Co-ordinate movement of clients assets during client insertion to securities lending • Update new client details on internal database • Escalate any potential risk issues / items • Daily review and update of all transition failing cash / securities • Liaise with client/consultants/managers to obtain information to open new accounts • Arrange for new funds to be fully opened on in-house systems
The successful candidate will have previous conversion/transition team experience, or experience in fund administration / settlements. Applicants will also ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent). In additional applicants should have excellent PC skills, with good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to take ownership of work, accepting responsibility and able to work independently when required.
