State Street is looking to recruit a Fund Administrator to join our team in Edinburgh.

Investor Services is the business unit within State Street that supports our role as a Custodian. There are several different departments, each playing their own role in providing custody services that are highly scalable and truly global.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the production of accurate pricing valuations to meet client and publication deadlines.

Responsibilities include:
- Administering client portfolios within the constraints of State Street's audit requirements, policies and procedures. 
- Ensuring all enquiries are logged and any that cannot be resolved within a reasonable length of time are escalated to Senior Fund Administrators, Assistant Pricing Managers and Pricing Managers.
- Ensure all recorded information is accurate and up to date.
- Communicating effectively with State Street colleagues through formalised reporting and liaison on ad hoc matters. 
- Filing, archiving and maintenance of team archive records.
- Assist with team and departmental projects.
- Growing market awareness and understanding of influencing factors on fund valuations.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with fund administration or fund accounting experience.  Candidates will also ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent).  In additional applicants should have excellent PC skills, with good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to take ownership of work, accepting responsibility and able to work independently when required.
