One of the UK's leading financial services companies is looking to hire a Workstream Implementation Manager to assist in
the submission of the Group's Solvency II Internal Model and ORSA (Own Risk Solvency
Assessment).
The role will support the production of documentation demonstrating the Group's compliance with the six tests of an approved Internal Model set out in the EU Draft Solvency II Directive.
Key responsibilities will include: Production of policies setting out the businesses documentation standards; the creation of policies and systems of governance to validate that the Internal Model continues to operate as intended, and that weaknesses arising are addressed; Review of documentation of business unit’s component’s of Internal Model and Maintenance of central documentation register
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the FSA’s current ICA/ICAAP requirements; broad knowledge of Solvency II and principles of enterprise risk management. Awareness of principles of risk governance and understanding of market, credit, liquidity, insurance and operational risks in the context of Legal & General’s businesses. With the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation; able to understand complex technical actuarial and finance issues and apply practical solutions; ability to deliver policy and other written documents to a high standard.
The job holder will be a professionally qualified/part qualified accountant, trainee actuary, internal auditor or holder of an equivalent risk management qualification.
